  1. HOW CAN I PURCHASE A PRODUCT?
  • How to find the products

You can find the products at http://shop.sforzinilluminazione.com in various ways.

The simplest way is by navigating through the drop-down menus at the top of the website. You can search by product type, occasions, gift ideas or by a specific brand.

If you are looking for a particular product, you can enter the keyword in the search field at the top right.

Once you have reached the product page, use the filters at the top to arrange them by price and choose how many products to view per page.

 

  • How to purchase a product

When you have found the article you want to purchase, you can add it directly to your basket by clicking on the icon "Add to basket".

You can then continue to shop, adding other products to your basket, or you can proceed to the "Checkout" in order to complete the purchase.

Our checkout process is fast and simple.

After logging in, enter the billing information and delivery address (only where the latter differs from the former).

 

  • How to pay for a product

After you have entered the delivery address, you will be directed to the payment page where you can pay, in complete security, by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. Once your order has been received, we will send you a summary email and we will then start to prepare your order.

 

  • What information about my order will I receive by email?

After you have sent your order, you will receive the following communications by e-mail:

- Order confirmed: This means that your order has been sent correctly. You should receive that confirmation just a few minutes after sending the order.

- Order returned: If you have started the return process and your returned order has been sent to our warehouse. After performing an inspection, we will start the refund process.

 

2.   PAYMENT METHOD

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

Payment for your online purchase can be made by Credit Card, PayPal and Bank Transfer.

 

  • When will the amount be charged to my credit card?

The amount relating to your order will be charged to the credit card at the time of shipment.

 

  • Where can I print the invoice for my order?

The invoice will only be sent with the goods.

 

  • Do the prices include VAT?

Our prices all include VAT.

 

3.  DELIVERY

  • Which courier will be used?

For all shipments in Italy, the courier used is Brt Express

 

  • To which countries can orders be delivered?

It is possible to deliver an order to Italy, to all EU countries, to Switzerland, to the Vatican City and to the Republic of San Marino. 

 

  • What are the delivery timescales?

Sforzin undertakes to deliver products purchased online by the Customer within 30 days (in compliance with the regulatory provision at Art. 54 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206 dated 06/09/05).

However, the Company takes steps to ensure that Products available in the warehouse are sent, using its trusted courier, within two working days after the day of receipt of the order (with the exclusion of public holidays and/or company closures).

Where the ordered product is not available in the warehouse, you will receive notification from our Customer Care Department.

 

  • What are the delivery charges?

The delivery charges vary from country to country.

  • Is the delivery insured?

Yes, all our deliveries are insured.

 

  • Can I ask for the purchase to be delivered to a different address from my own?

It is possible for the order to be delivered to an address other from the billing address (i.e. the ordering customer), provided that this is in the same nation as the billing address. When checking out, you will be asked to enter the delivery address, which may differ from the billing address.

 

  • Is it possible to indicate a precise day/time for the delivery?

It is not possible to specify a day and/or time for the delivery. All deliveries are made by our courier which delivers orders throughout the whole day, following its own organisational logic over which Sforzin Illuminazione has no power to intervene. You should, therefore, indicate a delivery address at which someone is always present to collect the package. If there is nobody at your domicile to sign for the delivery, we recommend indicating a different delivery address, for example, a house with concierge, an office, etc.

 

  • What should I do if nobody was home when the courier called to deliver?

The courier will make 2 attempts to deliver the order; where nobody is at home at the indicated address, a notice of delivery will be left. After the two attempts have been made, the package will be kept at the courier's headquarters for a few days before being returned to Sforzin.

 

  • How can I check the delivery status of my order?

You can check the delivery status of your order from the day after it is sent. Once it has been sent, you will automatically receive an e-mail containing all the information you need to track your order, including the direct link to the courier's portal to check the delivery status immediately.

 

  • How can I track my order?

Immediately after making the order, you will receive an e-mail with the order number and the link to the website of the courier dealing with the delivery at which you can find the most up-to-date available information.

Please note that you cannot track your order via the Web until the courier has updated its system with the information for the location of your order. It is therefore possible that on the first day after your order confirmation, despite being in possession of the link for the location, the information will not be available. However, the courier usually updates its information within the space of one working day from receipt of the link, so do try later if you cannot initially find the information.

 

4.  RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

  • Can I return the product I purchased?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product on the condition that it is intact, it has not been used and it is complete with the original packaging and product label. If you have made an online order, you can return it within 10 days from receipt of the package and the amount of the invoice relating to the returned product or products will be refunded to you, excluding delivery charges.

The right of withdrawal is regulated in accordance with the law (Italian Legislative Decree number 185 dated 22 May 1999).

The customer/consumer (i.e. an individual purchasing the goods for purposes not related to his/her professional activity, or not indicating on the order form a VAT reference) is entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason.

Sforzin shall not be liable in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured deliveries. 

 

  • What are the conditions for returning a product?

 The right of withdrawal is legitimately exercised when the following conditions are complied with:

- the products must not have been used or damaged

- the identification label, attached to the goods, must still be attached to the products

- the products must be returned in their original packaging

- the right of withdrawal is exercised in relation to the product in its entirety and not to parts or components thereof; if a kit was purchased, all elements that make up the kit must be returned

- if the products to be returned were purchased in a single order, the same must be received by the Seller Company in a single shipment; otherwise, the Company is entitled not to accept the return

 

  • If I return the product, will I be refunded the shipping costs?

The shipping costs for returned goods and the shipping costs for replacement goods will be borne by the customer.

 

  • Can I exchange a product I have purchased?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to replace products purchased online. You will have to complete the returns procedure and, at the same time, proceed with purchasing the new product.

 

  • What do I have to do to return a product?

You can contact our Customer Services by sending an e-mail to ordiniweb@sforzinilluminazione.com or by telephoning number +39 -02 9105178 from Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm explaining the reason why you wish to return a product.

You will be sent by e-mail a form to fill in to obtain the refund. Once completed, insert the form into the returns package and send the product by courier to:

You can choose any courier that provides insurance for the goods against risks of damage and theft. The goods must be returned intact and carefully packaged in their original packaging, complete with every accessory and with the identification label still attached.

In order to limit damage to the original packaging, we recommend placing the goods into a second box.

Damaged products will not be accepted as returns, even if the damage was due to inadequate packaging and/or to carriers. Transportation costs for the return in the case of simple return will not be refunded. Deliveries by means other than those indicated or at the cost of the recipient will not be accepted. It is not possible to exchange the article or articles in the order with others.

Please remember that the return must be shipped only from the country of origin of the order.

 

  • When will the refund for an article purchased online be made after the return?

After we have received the returned article and checked the compliance of the return process, we will send you a confirmation e-mail accepting the return. The refund currency depends upon the credit card handler with which the payment was made; usually it is made within the space of two statements.

Where the Customer has chosen the cash on delivery payment method, the Customer will be required to indicate, on the returns form, the complete bank details of a bank or postal account in the Customer's name in order for the Company to credit back the price paid.

 

5.  SECURITY AND PRIVACY

  • Are my credit card details protected?

In order to ensure you have the utmost peace of mind, Sforzin Illuminazione uses a “secure payment” system: your credit card details are protected as they are communicated directly to the bank. They are then sent by the bank to the international authorisation circuits which evaluate the outcome of the transaction and confirm whether the payment has been successful. In this way, no individual external to the credit organisation that handles the payment (Bankpass or Paypal) may have access to your card details. In addition, this protection is strengthened by the use of the most widespread security system for data encryption, SSL3 (Secure Socket Layer) with Triple Des algorithm at 128 bit, a recognised security standard on the network and issued by Verisign.

 

  • What happens to my personal data?

6.  GUARANTEE

Sforzin Illuminazione offers the 24 month guarantee in accordance with the rules dictated by the “Consumer Code” Italian Legislative Decree dated 6.9.2005 no. 206.

The product characteristics are identified on the website in each product's specifications; however, the colours may not be an accurate representation of the actual products by virtue of the internet browser or the monitor used.
